Introduced at Baselworld 2013, the stunning Urban Jürgensen Montre Observatoire Enamel features the in-house UJS P8 caliber with pivoted detent escapement and an oven-fired enamel dial that will keep its pristine look for many generations.
Creating the dial requires no less than 15 separate layers of enamel, each individually oven-fired, on a gold base dial.
The Observatoire Enamel is Chronofiable and C.O.S.C.-certified, and the pivoted detent escapement (the first in a production wristwatch) will not require oil or servicing for 5-7 years.
Be still my beating heart!
The P8 Montre Observatoire Émail has a 42 mm case and is available in red gold or platinum. For more information, please visit www.ujs-chronometry.ch
