If you follow the world of independent watchmaking, by now you’ve almost certainly heard of watchmaker Rexhep Rexhepi and his Akrivia watches. Since arriving on the scene in 2012 with its first tourbillon-based watch, Akrivia has continued to delight.
HM7, dubbed Aquapod, is the first aquatic timepiece by MB&F. And while this is not a dive watch per se, it does boast 50-meter water resistance, meaning you shouldn’t need to worry about going for a little swim. And it looks awesome!

Rebellion captures all the racing experience of its endurance teams and puts it into its watches. The T-1000 is a perfect example: a chain-driven behemoth of a wristwatch with six spring barrels providing more than 1,000 hours of power. The watch is a technical spectacle and the time-display rollers in the center of the watch grab your attention.
“A mechanical Swiss watch was the first thing on the drawing board for Fonderie 47,” says co-founder Peter Thum. “Work on this project had begun even before I filed the papers to set up the company; I knew that it would take us a long time to do this and it would be pivotal for us to make this watch.”
