Marc André Deschoux of The Watches TV discusses in some depth the effects of the current COVID-19 crisis as it affects the watch world.
Deschoux provides news of immediate consequences, what the fair organizers could be thinking, shows the empty streets of Geneva and the closed boutiques, and provides expert analysis of what this could mean for the foreseeable future.
Deschoux hits the nail on the head as to how hard it has become for both brands and journalists to work when all events have been postponed until the summer or fall.
But, most importantly he looks at how funds are flowing . . . and the answer is not well at all.

Cheers to everyone!
It’s a terrible situation that often makes us feel like we’re living in a bad dream.
However, we have to remain optimistic and be smart about the situation at hand. I agree that the impact of this crisis will be deeper than the 2008 one.
This is the time to come up with novel and better solutions. I truly believe we can jumpstart a new kind of communication and content. Schools, hospitals, entertainment… everyone will come up with solutions that could be here to stay if they are good! And so, carry on watches.tv and keep the good work coming!
