When we talk about Germany, we do not necessarily think of watches: luxury cars, high-tech machines, and Oktoberfest spring to mind. The “made in Germany” predicate is generally associated with quality, well-designed products, added value, and longevity. But watches? Yes, watches.
Porsche Design has came up with what I believe is one of the most interesting chronographs of recent decades: the Monobloc Actuator, whose claim to fame is its case and the operation of the start, stop, and reset functions. And now Porsche Design introduces its first in-house flyback chronograph movement – within a limited edition timepiece only available to future owners of Porsche’s 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series.
