If you are in Geneva during the SIHH week, you may want to consider going to one of the other horological exhibitions taking place in town at the same time as the main show.
Watch Art Gallery
WAG stands for Watch Art Gallery, and it is an interesting idea that showcases timepieces as works of art.
Naturally, they are works of art. But rarely are they staged as such.
If you’re interested to see how contemporary works of independent watchmakers such as Vianney Halter, Louis Moinet, Frédéric Jouvenot, 4N, Julien Coudray, Maîtres du Temps and A. Favre & Fils, are staged, stop by the Watch Art Gallery on 19 rue Chantepoulet in Geneva to have a look.

Swiss Independent Watchmaking Pavilion
From January 18 through 23, Geneva’s Casino du Lac will also be home to a small exhibition called the Swiss Independent Watchmaking Pavilion (SIWP), which will feature up to 21 small luxury brands on exhibition including A.H.C.I. members Vincent Calabrese, Vianney Halter, Antoine Preziuso, Kari Voutilainen, and Ludovic Ballouard as well as independent maker Rebellion and newcomer Akrivia.
Admission is free of charge and the SIWP exhibition is open from 11am – 11pm and if you want to try your luck, the casino is open 23 hours a day.
