Govberg Jewelers has just released a new app for the watch enthusiast called Govberg OnTime.
“I strongly believe in the future of technology and the role it plays and will increasingly play in the lives of our clients, friends, and watch collectors,” Danny Govberg, third-generation CEO of Philadelphia-based Govberg Jewelers, recently said.
He is very enthusiastic about this new multi-functional app. For example, it allows the user to keep up on the latest watch industry happenings and product releases thanks to feeds from leading online publications and blogs.
Enthusiasts can also easily manage their own watch collections for social sharing or insurance purposes, as well as buy, sell, or trade a new or pre-owned watch. All from their mobile devices.
Collectors can quickly and easily find out the value of their watches; this is information they can then use to prepare a sale or another purchase – which can likely be found among the app’s huge inventory of new and pre-owned timepieces for sale at Govberg.
The Watch Box section allows the enthusiast to upload photos of a collection for one’s own enjoyment or to share with friends, colleagues, or even an insurance purveyor. Details about each timepiece like warranty info, service history, and much more can be stored here in a cloud-based, accessible format.
The Sell My Watch section is fairly self-explanatory: it allows interested watch sellers to submit a photo and details of a timepiece to obtain a timely quote from a Govberg representative.
The Shop section is also rather self-explanatory: here the user can peruse a large array of new and pre-owned watches by category; according to Govberg, this is an area currently experiencing large growth. The only fly in the ointment here is perhaps that not all pricing is listed in the app; most prices are available via direct contact only.
Govberg OnTime is available through the App Store for Apple devices at www.itunes.apple.com/in/app/id738072910. It will be available for Android later this spring.
And while on the subject of horological apps, if you missed it please check out Watch Out For Watchville.
