A. Lange & Söhne once again sponsored the most luxurious vintage car event in the world: the Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza, which has taken place on gorgeous Lake Como in Italy since 1929.

The winner of the prestigious Concorso d’Eleganza 2017 was Italian collector Corrado Lopresto with a 1957 Alfa Romeo Giulietta SS prototype.

With his win, Lopresto became the proud owner of the unique Lange 1 Timezone emblazoned with the words “Como Edition.”

This world time watch, whose rotating city ring was modified to display Como as representing Central European Time, is an aesthetic ticking homage to the incredible beauty of the location and the event.

The choice of winner’s timepiece was particularly apt as the competition’s 2017 motto was “Around the World in 80 Days – Voyage through an Era of Records.”
