Philippe Dufour, watchmaker, legend, and frank opinionator, was asked by the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH) to choose his top five watches of the 2018 SIHH.

While his choices may seem unusual, they absolutely resonated with me.

A. Lange & Söhne Triple Split

And what is perhaps even more surprising is that among them he chose a wristwatch specifically aimed at women: the attractive and technical Insight Micro Rotor Lady by Romain Gauthier (truth be told, I did not want to take this watch off when I tried it on a the SIHH; it had to be pried from my wrist!).
