You Are There: ‘Watchmakers: The Masters Of Art Horology’ At The Maxxi Gallery, Rome
by Ian Skellern
I had the good fortune to visit Rome recently for the opening of Watchmakers: The Masters of Art Horology at the Maxxi Gallery of contemporary arts.
Watchmakers: The Masters of Art Horology is an international traveling exhibition of watches by 13 of the world’s best independent watchmakers. This special exhibition of horological art was created by Claudio Proietti, director of Rome’s Maxima Gallery and passionate aficionado of high-end independent watchmaking.

Christian Klings will also be attending the exhibition for a few days next week. I suggest contacting the organizers in advance if you want to synchronize a visit with the presence of any of these watchmakers (highly recommended).

Many great and innovative watch makers in attendance. Why wasn’t FP Journe part of this stellar lineup?
How can I buy the book?
