I wasn’t the only journalist to chat with A. Lange & Söhne during Watches and Wonders 2022 about the three new watches the brand launched at the show.

English journalist and author of The Watch Annual Justin Hast spoke with A. Lange & Söhne CEO Wilhelm Schmid about the brand-new Odysseus in titanium, the brand’s first watch in this metal. I also loved this watch, an exquisite everyday-wear timepiece that is also elegant and 100 percent conforming to the “DNA” of the Saxon manufacturer.
And SJX, the founder of WatchesbySJX.com, Asia’s leading watch journal, spoke with de Haas about the incredible Richard Lange Minute Repeater in a rousing ten-minute conversation about the ins and outs of chiming the time. This watch is simply mesmerizing in its seeming simplicity and was tagged as best in show or object of desire by members of our own team in our post-fair round table discussion.

Excellent interview. As I said in a different forum, it is refreshing to hear the comments of the ALS leadership. More watch companies should be so transparent (although it doesn’t stop me from wearing the watches :-))
