“A few years ago Jean-Louis Dumas, then at the head of Hermès, asked me to think about ‘what an Hermès timepiece for a travelling dandy might look like’,” said architect and designer Marc Berthier in 2010. While today we are more used to seeing a shape similar to this thanks to the Apple Watch, in 2010 a squarish case wildly stood out. And now in 2017 a brand-new Carré H arrives for the sophisticated, sporty, elegant man.

This year is no different, and in honor of the upcoming 28th edition of the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH), which opens its doors on January 15, 2018, we present you with an overview of some of the new models that have already been revealed – at least electronically.
La Montre Hermès presents two additions to its Cape Cod line: one with a decidedly new take on the Chaîne d’Ancre (“anchor chain”) motif as the hallmark transfers to the dial for the first time and one with an alluring mirror-polished face.
