Armin Strom’s Gravity Equal Force, first seen at Dubai Watch Week 2019, is a brand-new watch that seeks to innovate with the help of historical inspiration and a healthy dose of research and development.
It is the official beginning of a new direction at Armin Strom: the brand also launches a new line, System 78, with an haute horlogerie entry-level focus on innovation using refined contemporary design.
Modifying Armin Strom’s typical design codes, proportions have evolved into a more modern aesthetic with more functional usability for the wearer. The case diameter has been reduced to 41 millimeters, a first for the brand, and the “Armin Strom lip” at 6 o’clock has been shaved to match the more modern shape of the case.
While similar in essence to the Armin Strom’s original Gravity models, the Gravity Equal Force is easier to read at a glance while simultaneously highlighting the mechanics.
Our friends at The Watches TV reviewed this fresh and funky watch, adding interviews with Armin Strom CEO Serge Greisler and technical head Claude Greisler from a trip to their factory in Biel. Watch and listen here.
