Ever wondered what the inside of a Rolex Submariner looks like, then (sensibly) thought better of trying to find out?
Well, wonder no more: The Watches TV has teamed up with The Naked Watchmaker, Peter Speake-Marin, to take a modern Rolex Submariner completely apart – diving right into the heart of this famous diver’s watch.
Speake-Marin also explains a little of the history and technology of the Submariner as he strips down the Rolex Caliber 3130 to show us what it’s made of. For those of us with less dexterity and horological talent, this is a fascinating study, aptly and beautifully narrated by the British watchmaker.
The video is in two parts and even though they are lengthy Rolex fans are likely to be wishing for more.
