All Finalists in the 2024 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG)

The red carpet prize giving for the 2024 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) will take place in Geneva on Wednesday the 13 November 2024.
There are 16 categories with six finalists in each category selected by the GPHG Academy and the GPHG Jury, making a total of 96 watches in the final round.
A tip of the hat to Hèrmes with three watches in the finals, and to both Chopard and Parmigiani with a whopping six watches each in the finals.
Below are all of the finalists in each category.
Ladies’ Watches
The Ladies category is for feminine watches comprising the following indications only – hours, minutes, seconds, simple date (day of the month), power reserve, classic moon phases – and that may potentially be adorned with a maximum 9-carat gem setting.
The finalists in the Ladies category are: Arnold & Son Perpetual Moon 38 Night Tide, Chopard Alpine Eagle 33, Fabergé Colours of Love Rose Gold Rainbow Gemstone Watch, Hermès Hermès Cut, Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Automatic 36mm Diamonds Set, and Van Cleef & Arpels Lady Jour Nuit.
Ladies’ Complication
The Ladies Complication category is for feminine watches that are remarkable in terms of their mechanical creativity and complexity. These watches may feature all kinds of classic and/or innovative complications and indications (e.g. annual calendar, perpetual calendar, equation of time, complex moon phases, tourbillon, chronograph, world time, dual time or other types of model) and do not fit the definition of the Ladies’ and Mechanical Exception categories.
The finalists in the Ladies Complication category are: Andersen Genève Sakura Andersen Genève X BCHH, Chaumet Swing, Fabergé Compliquée Butterfly Blooms Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition, Louis Vuitton Tambour Slim Vivienne Jumping Hours Sakura, Trilobe The Exquisite Hour Secret – Unique Piece, and Van Cleef & Arpels Lady Arpels Brise d’Été.
Time Only
The Time Only category is for watches with two or three hands and no gem setting, bearing exclusively analogue time indications: hours, minutes, seconds.
The finalists in the Time Only category are: Berneron Mirage Sienna, Bernhard Lederer 3 Times Certified Observatory Chronometer, Chopard L.U.C Qualité Fleurier, Czapek Goutte d’Eau, H. Moser & Cie Streamliner Small Seconds Blue Enamel, and Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Micro-Rotor No Date.

Mens Watches
The Men’s category is for masculine watches comprising the following indications only – hours, minutes, seconds, simple date (day of the month), power reserve indication, classic moon phases – and that may potentially feature a digital/retrograde display or be adorned with a maximum 9-carat gem setting.
The finalists in the Men’s category are: Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Ultra Platinum, Garrick S3 MK2, Grand Seiko Manual-winding Hi-Beat 36000, Hajime Asaoka Tsunami “Art Deco”, Parmigiani Fleurier Toric Petite Seconde Platinum, and Voutilainen KV20i Reversed.

Men’s Complication
The Men’s Complication category is for masculine watches that are remarkable in terms of their mechanical creativity and complexity. These watches may feature all kinds of classic and/or innovative complications and indications (e.g. world time, dual time or other types of model) and do not fit the definition of the Men’s and Mechanical Exception categories.
The finalists in the Men’s Complication category are: ArtyA Purity Central Tourbillon Blue, Byrne Meca, Chopard L.U.C Strike One, De Bethune DB Kind Of Grande Complication, Franck Muller Long Island Evolution Master Jumper, and Kazuo Maeda Heures Universelles.
Iconic Watches
The Iconic category is for watches stemming from an emblematic collection or model that has been exercising a lasting influence on watchmaking history and the watch market for more than 20 years or offering a contemporary reinterpretation.
The finalists in the Iconic category are: Breitling Navitimer B12 Chronograph 41 Cosmonaute, Hublot Classic Fusion Original Yellow Gold 29 mm, IWC Schaffhausen Big Pilot’s Watch 43 Tourbillon Markus Bühler, Louis Vuitton Tambour, Piaget Piaget Polo 79, and Urwerk UR-102 Reloaded.
Tourbillon watches
The Tourbillon category is for mechanical watches comprising at least one tourbillon. Additional indications and/or complications are admissible.
The finalists in the Tourbillon category are: Chopard L.U.C 1860 Flying Tourbillon, Daniel Roth Tourbillon Souscription, H. Moser & Cie Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton, Rémy Cools Tourbillon Atelier, Sartory Billard SB06-24HM “La Nuit”, and Voutilainen Tourbillon 20th Anniversary.

Calendar and Astronomy
The Calendar and Astronomy category is for mechanical watches comprising at least one calendar and/or astronomical complication (e.g. date, annual calendar, perpetual calendar, equation of time, complex moon phases display, etc.). Additional indications and/or complications are admissible.
The finalists in the Calendar and Astronomy category are: Anton Suhanov Chronotope, Frédérique Constant Slimline Perpetual Calendar Manufacture Designed by Peter Speake, H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Chinese Calendar, IWC Schaffhausen Portugieser Eternal Calendar, Laurent Ferrier Classic Moon Silver, and Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Hijri Perpetual Calendar.
Mechanical Exception
The Mechanical Exception category is for watches featuring a special mechanism, such as an innovative or sophisticated display, an automaton, a striking or any other acoustic function, a special escapement, a belt-driven movement or comprising another original and/or exceptional horological concept.
The finalists in the Mechanical Exception category are: Bovet 1822 Récital 28 Prowess 1, Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Ultra COSC, Hermès Arceau Duc Attelé, MB&F HM11 Architect, Piaget Altiplano Ultimate Concept Tourbillon, and Ulysse Nardin Freak S Nomad.
Chronograph watches
The Chronograph category is for mechanical watches comprising at least one chronograph indication. Additional indications and/or complications are admissible.
The finalist in the Chronograph category are: Angelus Instrument de Vitesse, Louis Vuitton x Rexhep Rexhepi LVRR-01 Chronographe à Sonnerie, Massena Lab Chronograph Monopoussoir Sylvain Pinaud x Massena Lab, Parmigiani Fleurier Toric Split Seconds Chronograph, TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph, and Zenith Chronomaster Original Triple Calendar.

Sport
The Sport category is for watches linked to the world of sport, whose functions, materials and design are suited to physical exercise.
The finalists in the Sport category are: IWC Schaffhausen Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph 41 Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One™ Team, Ming 37.09 Bluefin, Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Sport Chronograph, Singer Reimagined Divetrack, Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono”Cycling Edition”, and Zenith Defy Extreme Diver.
Jewellery
The Jewellery category is for watches demonstrating exceptional mastery of the art of jewellery and gem setting, and also distinguished by the choice of stones.
The finalists in the Jewellery category are: Bvlgari Fenice High-Jewelry secret watch, Chopard Laguna High-Jewellery Secret Watch, Damiani Margherita Desert Garden Secret Watch, Dior Montres Grand Soir Reine des Abeilles, Gucci G-Timeless Planetarium, and Piaget Aura High Jewellery watch.
Artistic Crafts
The Artistic Crafts category is for watches demonstrating exceptional mastery of one or several artistic techniques such as enamelling, lacquering, engraving, guilloché (engine-turning), skeleton-working, etc.
The finalists in the Artistic Crafts category are: Andersen Genève Jumping Hours Black Jade Stone, Chopard L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25 Year of the Dragon, Hermès Arceau Chorus Stellarum, Louis Vuitton Escale Cabinet of Wonders Snake’s Jungle, Piaget Glowing Weave watch, and Van Cleef & Arpels Lady Arpels Jour Enchanté.

Petite Aiguille
The Petite Aiguille category is for watches with a retail price between CHF 3,000 and CHF 10,000. Smartwatches are admissible in this category.
The finalists in the Petite Aiguille category are: Amida Take Off Edition, Christiaan Van Der Klaauw Ariadne, Frédérique Constant Slimline Moonphase Date Manufacture seconde/seconde/, Furlan Marri Perpetual One, Kudoke 3 Salmon, and Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT.
Challenge
The Challenge category is for watches with a retail price equal to or under CHF 3,000. Smartwatches are admissible in this category.
The finalists in the Challenge category are: Beaubleu Seconde Française, Christopher Ward London C1 Moonphase, Furlan Marri Disco Verde, Kollokium Projekt 01, Otsuka Lotec No.6, and Spaceone Tellurium.
