January 11, 2016/5 Comments/in A. Lange & Söhne, De Bethune, MB&F, Vianney Halter/by Joshua Munchow

December 30, 2015/2 Comments/in Highlights, A. Lange & Söhne, Kobold, Nomos Glashütte/by Elizabeth Doerr

With all of the unrest in the world today, “giving back” has become an important thing for anyone living comfortably. And while lots of luxury brands, including watch brands, do give back in one way or another, I’d like to single out a few individuals in the world of high-end timekeeping that have gone the extra mile toward helping humanity in 2015 crises.

Drum Roll, Please: Drummers And Watches, Two Natural Timekeepers

December 29, 2015/11 Comments/in Arts, A. Lange & Söhne, Corum, Patek Philippe/by Elizabeth Doerr

The year 2015 represents the 200th anniversary of the birth of Ferdinand Adolph Lange, founder of the illustrious watch manufacture A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte. To celebrate, A. GaryG Goes To Paris To Pick Up Custom Boucheron Cufflinks Or How I Spent My Summer Vacation

July 7, 2015/2 Comments/in Highlights, Travel, A. Lange & Söhne, Philippe Dufour/by GaryG

Ah, Paris! City of Lights, Paname, Babylon on the Seine – no matter how one refers to it, there is nothing remotely like it. For the watch collector, it’s a great place to visit as well with boutiques aplenty, some owned and operated by the major brands; high-end mega-stores like Bucherer; and smaller independent retailers like Chronopassion and Dubail. Recently, I took a quick weekend trip to Paris and while there I took the opportunity to pack in as much fun as possible. Come along with me and join in!
